Excellent location - a little away from the center and crowds of tourists, quiet, cozy, all close! atmosphere of the medieval mansion, great patio, in which it is very nice to sit in the evening. hotel is warm (were in February), furnished and renovated in a very good condition, interior is very pleasant and atmospheric: the walls in the room were upholstered with material (no dust and close was not), furniture is antique, in excellent condition, frescoes on the ceilings, paintings on the walls, etc.. Plumbing without the slightest complaints! Shampoos, gels, etc. in abundance! Our family room for 4 consisted, in fact, of two doubles with a common hallway, so there were two bathrooms, two TVs (although not too large), two closets, two safes, most importantly, two isolated rooms (soundproofing excellent). doors to the hallway were easily locked and there was always access to children, if necessary, you can close for a while. Cleaning is excellent - clean and all the time in our absence (I note, however, that during the day we have almost never been to the hotel). Breakfast is of very high quality, although there is not much choice: we had breakfast 4 times - we did not have enough :). staff at the reception, dining room and bar is very friendly and always ready to help. In general, great property!
The only minus is probably the bathroom in the smaller of the dubbles. Because of this, the shower cabin is also tight, and to sit down, sorry, on the toilet, you have to squeeze past the sink. It seemed that the last aspect could be removed by turning the "throne" 45 degrees. But it did not affect the overall very positive impression of the hotel. This is a great place! Viva Italia! Viva Hotel Monna Lisa!

The hotel is definitely recommended to all. The staff is excellent and affable and accommodates all of guests' needs. The location is great, 1 km from a neo-gothic Franciscan church.

What I probably liked most was the proximity of the hotel to the most famous sights. Excellent breakfast and very nice decoration of the whole establishment. The staff is very attentive and pleasant, especially Erika, who is the girl with whom we have had more treatment during our stay. The private parking is small and outdoors but a few cars enter, so it is necessary to book, and being in the city center where there are parking problems I thought it was fantastic to leave it there.
For personal reasons I would have liked to have a room closer to the exit of the establishment to avoid some steps that have been annoying with the baby carriage, but for everything else we have no complaints. We were there at the beginning of September, and we were very concerned about the mosquitoes that are in the whole city, including in the establishment, but it is not the fault of the establishment since it is a general problem of the city.

I stayed hear last in 1986 and I had always remembered how lovely and charming it was and still is. Most of all this stay, I was very surprised that it was much more busy with guest and still it was so peaceful and quite. The hotel is still as I always remembered and I'm happy for that since dear friends of mine (Mr.Dan Wright) took my recommindation and stayed there during our stay and they said it was everything I spoke about and I think they also loved their stay. I wil still continue to recommend the Monna Lisa and will stay again if and when I visit Firenze again. Charles Arato
I really do not have any, except that maybe the breakfast selection could vary a little from day to day for people who stay longer like I do, but I did notice that most of your guest where only there for a day or two.

The staff were very attentive and friendly
But the room was on the small side. We stayed in a Classic Double or Twin Room, beautifully decorated but felt a bit cramped. The service was really good and the location was perfect for sightseeing.

It's a fantastic place! Hotel in a medieval Florentine palace (rooms, understandably, in former utility rooms). place is historical, as it turned out, where the Patriarch of Constantinople Joseph II lived during the Ecumenical Council of Ferrarao Florence (the last attempt to unite Catholics and Orthodox). So you'll get in touch with the great history of splendid Florence immediately after checking in :). interior is appropriate. the most picturesque Italian garden in the courtyard, is a great rarity for Florence. There's its own parking lot (check-in from the opposite street). rooms are clean, cozy and beautiful... Even if you come from a tour or a walk, you still stay in the unique Florentine atmosphere... By breakfast no complaints, fresh pastries (including croissants:))) plus a standard set of good European hotel - cheeses, hams, scrabble, etc. Breakfast restaurant is also on top, including service and dishes! staff, staff, efficiency, responsiveness, cleaning quality - everything is perfect! Location - above all praise, center! To the main attractions on foot. There are many restaurants nearby. About fifty meters to the right, on the opposite side of the street, in general a magnificent restaurant (you will find on the hides of chairs). Next time in Florence. just here,
A few days prior to arrival, €270 was deducted unaccepted from the card, although no deposit was provided by the booking conditions. At check-out they wrote off the full cost of accommodation without taking into account the deposit, promised to return it in 5 days, returned in two weeks, as explained, due to the fact that many banking services on New Year holidays did not work.

A beautiful hotel with fine rooms and a wonderful courtyard right in the heart of Florence.
The location in the city was great! The hotel is updated and very nicely decorated. The rooms are well-appointed and comfortable. The courtyard is a quite, peaceful and beautiful place to sit and visit with friends/family. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They serve a wonderful European breakfast.

Beautiful setting, onsite parking was a big bonus. Gardens are beautiful and ideal if you want a half an hour of peace and quiet after the jostle of Florence. Fantastic restaurant just down the road.
had to pay for internet access which was quite expensive.

The bar was the life and soul of the hotel with staff that could just as well have been from a theatrical production. Decor and ambience is very good.
Limited food options as the restaurant area is only used for a simple breakfast. This is however not a complete disaster as there are plenty of good eateries in the vicinity. Hotel is slightly under staffed but this is again offset by most being jacks of all trade.

The room was wonderful. Amazing antique furniture and art work. The location could not be better for a Florence sightseeing vacation. Breakfasts were excellent.

The ancient monastery always holds its ambience. The staff is extremely helpful. Cozy and relax atmosphere, a few steps from Duomo and all the rest. Whishing to return to this hotel for more nights to stay! It has its own small parking, should be reserved in advance.
Difficult (impossible??) to avoid the zone of limited traffic -- fines of 85 euros!
